EFFECTS OF MOBILE PHONES DUE TO
IMPROPER USE.
Handset
or Mobile phone is important device for communication in societies but if it is
used improperly can bring negative effect badly in any society. In many
countries, especially third world countries mobile phones started increasing
during 90’s that only few people had the ability to posses due to the price of
such device to be high but due to increasing in globalization and widening of
countries’ economy the number of people who posses mobile phones was increasing
day after day while governments were allowing different companies to invest in
mobile phones and communication network. Till now there is large competition in
the market of mobile phones such as Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, Siemens, LG and Communication
networks such as Vodacom, Airtel, Tigo, Hayak etc due to millions of customers.
EFFECTS OF MOBILE PHONES TO THE SOCIETY
- Increase in Falsity
in the society, for instance you may call someone and tell you that he/she
is far away from where you are while the truth is that he/she is near by
the place you are.
- Increase in crimes
such as robbery, theft and so on because many criminals use mobile phones
to make different evil tactics.
- Mobile phones may
annul the marriage due to increase in adultery.
- Sometimes when using
mobile phone while there is storm during rainfall season the storm may
kill you through waves that pass and reach in your body.
- Improper use of
mobile phones may decrease the user’s income because you can’t go online
unless you recharge your account.
- Using internet by
using mobile phones for chatting (facebook, twitter, whatsapp etc) full
time without better time planning may cause failure to some important
things you should do.
NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF MOBILE PHONES TO
PEOPLE’S HEALTH
Mobile
phones use Microwaves that enable the connection from your phone to the Tower
and the tower connects your phone’s network to another tower to the user you
call. Microwave is the primary way of such connection, but there are many
problems that may occur due to stay near by microwaves that until now it hasn’t
been estimated for how much it affects.
Investigations
indicated that there are many negative effects to the health we may get due to
the use of mobile phones, some of them are getting headache time after time,
high and low pressure, swelling in brain, cancer, Alzheimer and so on.
We
can’t stop ourselves using mobile phones and we can’t prevent those microwaves
because it is the part of our daily occupation or business but we can reduce. I
bring you here some important ways which you can follow to reduce these effects
so that it can’t cause major problems in our health.
- Decrease unnecessary
use of mobile phone, for instance just talk for a short period.
Investigation indicated that if you talk for two minutes there will be no
effect at all (Alter natural electricity of the brain)
- Don’t allow children
to use mobile phones except where necessary.
- Don’t use Earphones
with wire, use wireless for instance those of Bluetooth. Those that
contain wire increase number of waves because they are used also as the
phone antenna.
- Don’t place your
mobile phone in pockets of your trousers or shirts or in the waist. Parts
of the body allow waves to penetrate very easily because they are the way
of brain nerves and the down parts of the body.
- Don’t use your mobile
phone in a small room or in the lift or inside the car because your mobile
phone will use more powers to bring microwaves in order to enable good
communication in such places.
- When you call someone
wait until he/she accept your call then put up your phone near your ear to
listen and not while it connects.
- Don’t call anyone
while network signal is down because your phone will struggle for
increasing waves to enable good communication.
- When buying phones
make sure you read if has LOW SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) it is
measurement of receiving waves. Original phones have but fake one don’t.
- Use some devices that
help in decreasing waves (they have blinking light)
- Place your phone at
least 3.4 inches from your ear and make an effort of using wireless
earphone when using it or use Speaker phone (Loud Speaker) and use more
messages (SMS) than calling and if for some reason you should place your
phone on your ear make sure you don’t spend much time on doing so.
- Make an effort of not
placing also your phone near your reproductive organs especially for men
who haven’t children yet.
- The best thing is to
eat balanced diet to improve our health.
NOTE: Mobile phones are good and have simplified many
important issues in our daily life such as in business etc but I wrote this
article to help you using it properly in order to be benefited from it and
remember that any good thing can be harmful if you misuse it.
