EASIEST WAY TO REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORD IN USER ACCOUNTS.

We all know that a password is any word that is used by the owner of account to access the account safely and securely.

In windows you may set your own password so that it’s only you who can access your account and it’s a secret word that you are only familiar with and no one else.

There are many ways that are created to help recover your password when you forget it. In windows’ user account the primary way is called "password hint” so what is it? And how are you going to use it?

It’s simple to use and here I will show you but before that it’s better to get the good idea of what we call "password hint”

A password hint is any word or sentence that describes the meaning of your real password, so it's a good idea to provide a password hint to aid your memory. Helpful hints usually combine words, phrases, and numbers that mean something to you. The hint is available on the Welcome screen when you log on.

For example check the below table to show you some examples of password and corresponding hints

You create your password hint when you create your new password or change a password in user account

It is important to keep in mind that anyone who uses your computer will be able to see the hint on the Welcome screen, so keep your hint vague enough that other people cannot guess your password. A good hint might be "My first favorite grade III teacher’s name" for a password based on that information.

Note:

• Don’t put yourself at risk for creating easy hint that anyone can use to know your password. The following are some hints that anybody can guess your password

1. The largest continent in the world……… any body can guess that is "ASIA”
2. An insect that causes malaria ……… any body can guess that is "MOSQUITO”
3. The first planet from the sun……… any body can guess that is "MERCURY”

And many others like that. So don’t put yourself at risk by using such kind of passwords with easy hints.

• Some people who have yet got the knowledge about password hint fill the same password in password hint text box that will make the account unsafe because the hint is shown to every one. Example of such kind of hint are:-

Password is "computer” and corresponding hint is "computer”

Password is "lamination” and corresponding hint is "lamination”.

So be careful about that.

• Create hint that describe your password and don’t use the hint that is no use at all. Example of such hints are:-

Password is "Madagascar” and corresponding hint "my father”

Password is "JOHN” and corresponding hint is "America” and others like that so if you forget a password and hint shows up "my father” you will confuse your self because how are "my father and "Madagascar” related? So this may put you at risk.
