| Hallow Stary Funs; I have one math problem hope I can getsolution here;
The question is:
Integrate (sec2x(cot x) 1/2) dx;
I need your solution in details please I’ll be very much
grateful.

| Integrate (sec2x(cot x) 1/2) dx;
Solution
Remember that, cot x = cos x/sin x
Then (cot x) ½ = (cos x/sin x)1/2 and
can be written as;
(sin x/cos x)-1/2 ; so we substitute it with (cot
x) 1/2
= Integral of (sec2x (sin x/cos x)-1/2 )
dx
= Integral of (sec2x (tan x)-1/2) dx
= Integral of [sec2x (1/ (tan x) 1/2)]
dx
Now let u = tan x
du/dx = sec2x;
then dx = du/sec2x
Now from Integral of [sec2x (1/ (tan x) 1/2)
] dx
= Integral of [sec2x (1/ (u) 1/2)]x du/sec2x;
= Integral of 1/ u ½ du = u- ½ du;
= 2u½ ; but u = tan x
Therefore = 2(tan x) ½ + c
Hope this is the best solution for you.

| thanks a lot badshah the answer is correct I only knew the answer and didn't know how to obtain it and you help me for realy thanx again. i know that those powers can't be well seen coz of lack of some imporatnt symbols but you understood what I meant.
